The purpose of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas is to participate in the religious, charitable, and educational apostolate of the Church. The Catholic Daughters organization engages in social and spiritual programs by providing creative opportunities for its members to develop their special, God-given talents in meaningful ways. In the parish we sponsor an annual day of reflection in March for all women of the area, and host various activities such as bake sales, wreath sales, Valentine Day basket raffle and Mother's day rose and cookie sales to fund our functions and service projects. These funds are used for such things as 'Two Hearts Pregancy Aid', 'Next Step', 'Smile Train', St. Vincent de Paul Society, and 'Seattle Against Slavery'. We have a blanket making party in November and then deliver the completed blankets to the Youth Migrant Project in Skagit County. We also assist the Knights of Columbuts with the annual children's Christmas party.
We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Check the Events Page on the homepage to see our next event.
